Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few answers to some commonly asked questions. If you have any other questions, please reach out! I'm here for YOU!

  • What schools do you photograph at?

I photograph graduation and senior sessions throughout the Capital Region, including:

    • Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
    • University at Albany
    • Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
    • Hudson Valley Community College
    • SCCC
    • Russell Sage College
    • Maria College
    • BOCES
    • Albany Law School
    • Albany Medical School
    • Bryant & Stratton College
    • Excelsior College
    • Siena College
    • local high schools,
    • and other colleges throughout the Capital Region and Upstate New York.
  • What is your photography and editing style?

My photography style is bright, natural, candid, and authentic. I focus on creating graduation and senior portraits that feel genuine and personal rather than overly posed or heavily edited.

I do not dramatically alter appearances or change the environment unrealistically. My goal is for your photos to still feel like you while capturing you in the best light possible.

  • Do you help with posing?

Yes! Most people are not professional models, and that is completely okay. I guide clients through poses, movement, and prompts throughout the session to help photos feel comfortable, natural, and relaxed.

I love combining candid moments with more classic graduation and senior portrait poses.

  • How long does it take to receive photos?

Edited graduation and senior portrait galleries are typically delivered within a few days to one week depending on the season and session size.

During peak graduation season, turnaround times may vary slightly due to increased booking volume.

  • What should I wear for my graduation or senior portrait session?

I always recommend wearing outfits that feel comfortable and authentic to you. Neutral tones, solid colors, and outfits that reflect your personality tend to photograph beautifully.

For graduation sessions, many students bring:

    • cap and gown,
    • cords/stoles,
    • multiple outfits,
    • champagne,
    • sports equipment,
    • or items meaningful to their college experience.
  • What makes Zuzanna Portraits different?
